Richard's journey in law began with a solid foundation, having earned three law degrees from both civil law and common law jurisdictions, including prestigious institutions in the United Kingdom and Canada. Graduating cum laude with honors from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in Toronto, Ontario, and after articling at the reputable law firm of Cox & Palmer, Richard embarked on his legal career in Canada, where he has since established himself as a trusted legal advisor.

Mr. Xu speaks English,  Chinese Mandarin and some Cantonese, and his primary areas of practice include corporate legal, intellectual property right, cross-border merge and acquisition, litigation and arbitration, alternative dispute resolution, contract dispute as well as other areas, such as family law, real estate transaction and estate planning.
